Fees for the Reproduction of Images from the Collections of the Art Museum of Estonia
valid from 01.01.2011 (subject to change without prior notice)
Permission to reproduce and the fee to be paid (to which is added value added tax 20%) cover only the specific use of one image.
Further reproduction of any kind is not covered by the initial fee or permission to reproduce.
Art Museum of Estonia may not hold exclusive rights to the works of art for which a permission to be reproduced has been granted. All rights must be obtained from the Estonian Authors' Society or from the authors themselves.
The use of images from the collections of the Art Museum of Estonia is free of reproduction fees to artists requesting to reproduce their own work, to the consignor of the work of art for which a permission to reproduce has been requested, and to the museum professionals in the Republic of Estonia. The permission to reproduce is also granted free of reproduction fees for images used for academic and/or research purposes.
All requests for permission to reproduce images from the collections of the Art Museum of Estonia will be considered on a case by case basis.
