November 11, 2020-March 28, 2021, Mikkel Museum For the first time, the general public can enjoy the art collection of Külli and Peeter Värnik, which primarily consists of landscape paintings by authors linked to the Pallas School. The Värniks’ collection started with Aleksander Vardi’s painting Autumn, acquired in 1999. In the succeeding decade, the couple worked intensely to enlarge the collection with works by Oskar Kallis, Konrad Mägi, Ado Vabbe, Kristjan Teder, Richard Sagrits and others. March 21-August 2, 2020, Mikkel Museum The exhibition focusses on one of the largest private art collections in Estonia and on its owner, Mart Lepp. The display includes works by contemporary artists and by Estonian art classics from the first half of the 20th century.
