Contemporary Art Archive

The digital archive of contemporary art presents the contemporary collection of the Art Museum of Estonia, including works by Estonian and international artists.

In compiling the catalogue the Art Museum of Estonia has worked in close relation with the artists. In addition to visual images and information about the works, the archive also includes artists’ portrait images and biographies.

As the museum’s contemporary art collection is constantly growing through new purchases, the contemporary art archive will continue to expand and develop – additional visual material and information will be added accordingly.

The archive is free to use, however all the material it contains is protected by copyright-laws, and therefore can only be used by paying the appropriate fee, as stated on the pricelist.

Extensive digital archives are not created over night, and therefore we ask for your patience should some technical problems or discrepancies in the information occur.
