| Description: | Heinrich Otto Zoege von Manteuffeli portree näol on tegemist hea näitega 19. sajandi baltisaksa perekonnaportreest, mis seostub kindlate, kohalikus kultuuriloos nimekate isikutega. Heinrich Otto Zoege von Manteuffel päris 1816. aastal isalt Küti mõisa. Tema juures Kütil elasid õde ja õemees, kunstnik Karl von Kügelgen oma perega. Seal kasvas ka Heinrich Otto von Manteuffeli kasupoeg, tulevane kunstnik Carl Timoleon von Neff. 1820. aastate keskpaigas vahetas Heinrich Otto Zoege von Manteuffel pärandmõisad oma vennaga ja temast sai Määri (Meyris) mõisahärra. Portree on asunud järjepidevalt Zoege von Manteuffelite suguvõsa valduses. Maaliga seonduv arhiivmaterjal Eesti Kunstimuuseumis lubab järeldada, et Heinrich Otto von Manteuffeli portree autoriks on tema kunstnikust kasupoeg, nimekas baltisaksa kunstnik Carl Timoleon von Neff. |
