Description: | The graceful figure of a giraffe is a good motif for a graphic image. The composition of the work is simple and has been taken from a nature photograph or postcard showing a clumsy animal in a comical pose. Due to the poor quality of printing the screen used while making this work has become an independent artistic method and a symbol of its own. It is one of the means of expression in a process in which the elements of mass culture and mass production are taken over by the aesthetic system of 'high art', merging concepts of 'unique', 'elitist' and 'professional' with 'low', 'mass' and 'cheap'.
