| Description: | Graphic works by Raus continue to deal with the same subjects as his earlier paintings; the hole, tear, break and continuation, but in these pieces the artist has opted for different means. In graphic art tears and grooves become scratches and lines that are then carried onto the paper in a manner that imitates the structure of a painting. Raus's drawings are full of ambivalence and charm typical of miniatures, and they also contain a creative touch of wandering hand. Eha Komissarov |
