| Description: | Ruben has focused on psychic automatism as an art form that was also the topic of her thesis. Lembe Ruben graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts in 2002 and gained recognition at several graphic art exhibitions. Her drawings and lithographs derive from simple images of children's drawings and are released from the unconscious. Social themes, depicted in a comical, ironical fashion, are not unknown to her either (petitions, grants etc). As a graphic artist she prefers the technique of lithography, combining it with collage.
