| Description: | Avo Keerend is one of the most experienced graphic artists and book illustrators in Estonia. He has mostly used the techniques of relief printing (coloured lino-cut and plastic-cut) and perfecting his characteristic geometrical manner. The artist was already in the 1960s drawn to cubist-constructivist language of form when his works were still considered avant-garde. In “Correlations" in the 1990s Keerend convincingly continued with the same style, preserving the visual and technical radiance. Keerend has earned several prizes and continues to participate in international exhibitions. Anne Untera |
