Description: | In the 1990s Urmas Viik introduced a dramatic mode of expression and a powerful mythology into graphic art. However he is not a stranger to the social world either (themes as the boom in consumption, collective memory). His book, “Nonexistent Travels" (1997), consists of handmade paper, tied together. The pages, framed with aluminum, include diagrams, plans and sketches of the travels of his dreams. Anne Untera |
