Maalijad (Painters) depicts a group of people in nature, which was quite a common motif in French impressionist art. Among others we also see a painter at an easel and a gentleman who is probably sketching (or perhaps reading a book). The interesting shadow that looms black falling from the upper left merits particular attention.
